Re: Weird iTunes Snafu Made My Dark Star Go Poof |
Hey, AR, you are not alone in this. A geek friend added something to my itunes header bar at the top - it's an icon that looks like a curly sheet of paper, thick and black. When you click on this icon, you get four options, the last is "super remove all dead tracks". One click on this line and within a few short minutes, all of your !!! tracks are removed - voila!!! Maybe someone here knows what this quick-fix add-on is called and can forward it your way. Happy spring cleaning.

Sounds convenient ... but, um, scary name, isn't it? "Super remove all Dead tracks"? I'd sure be afraid to click on that if I didn't know what it was!

Happy Mother's Day AR. You're right about the wording of that drop down command, I hesitated even mentioning it for that reason alone. I'll contact my computer pal and get the name and link for this tool because it is quite effective - and quick!. I have a Mac, and this clean-up tool has never re-arranged, or bothered in any other way, my itunes listings, library or folders.
